in the deal Obama made with Republicans to extend the Bush tax cuts (and to include payroll tax cuts). Some of us tried to warn you. Don't be so surprised about the assault on what remains of the New Deal. Don't be surprised at those representatives that may vote for the gang of six proposal. The Democrats are in a box. We the people will sacrifice. No matter how this turns out, we will still be the ones asked to scarifice in meaningful ways. We now have to look forward and figure out what we can do to restore an America that delivers for its people instead of the few and powerful. It will take all your creativity and efforts, especially on the local political front in your states. Chin up and get to work.
