If Durbin is correct, and this cannot pass in time. 3 possibilities. |

A. Emergancy extension of debt ceiling B. Going around Congress (14th Ammendment, what Clinton was discussing) C. Default.
What will it be? I don't know.

1. My guess is B. With Clinton supporting it today, I won't be surprised to see Obama go there. nt |

4. I do think C is a possibility, and the idiots are in favor of it. |
|
but I sure hope not. It would hurt a lot of people, not just investors and rich. Especially if the default lasts a long time.

5. I agree that B would never happen. |
|

...and guess A as it's everyone's best interest since our economy is based on credit and borrowing. B isn't an acceptable option that many people would accept as legitimate (including myself regardless of whether a D, L or R is President). C could happen, but I don't think people are ready for Mad Max quite yet.
