Trying to taint a film because one of the money people is a creep is a fool's game. Rupert owns Fox, this is from one of his companies. As is Avatar, the Simpsons, and endless other films and shows that are not right wing at all.
This film is too bright for most of DU, so it is fine they should skip it, the book, obviously none of them have heard of it. Which says much. G

A lovely book, an excellent director, a wonderful cast. It is the sort of film Americans are generally too stupid to enjoy, it will do better abroad, too literate, not enough violence, strong women, all the shit Americans hate in films.
