8. Yes, and it is very confusing because there were also some

primaries today, primaries a week ago, 'regular' recall elections August 9th.

But basically, Hansen, one of the 14 dems, was targeted for recall. Three dems are such targets. There was to be a repub primary, but one of the guys did not get enough signatures, so there was just the 'general' tonight, the only one of it's kind and the first.

Hansen was thought to be vulnerable, his area used to be pretty conservative (mostly Catholic folks, like me, and unlike me, vote Repub).

Anyhoo, he blew the Repub out of the water, 2 to 1. GREAT NEWS!!!
