The 2012 Defense Budget proposal is the largest since World War 2
Edited on Wed Jul-20-11 02:35 AM by Cali_Democrat
Highlights:

- The total budget would be $703 Billion

- The FY 2012 request grows the base defense budget by 3.0 percent in real terms from the level enacted in FY 2011

- Adjusting for inflation, the level of funding proposed for the base defense budget in the FY 2012 request is the highest level since World War II

Now that you've seen this information, it's time to move along. We need to discuss cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

1. Should be cut by about $500 billion. This includes ending wars and pulling back military bases.

3. TPTB and their media minions
act as if it is perfectly reasonable to believe we are faced with grave threats. Threats grave enough to justify these unnecessary wars of choice and a military of this size and scope. They nearly created this terrorism threat out of thin air.
