I would like to suggest a polling question. |
|
I noticed a constant in the polls I stumbled across over the last months: * Generic republican candidate beats Obama. * Obama consistently beats all real-live republican candidates.
It surely would be interesting to hear from the GOPers, which real-live republican candidate could possibly beat that obviously brilliant and charming "generic republican candidate".
Or maybe the GOP should put the "generic republican candidate" on the ballot and sort things out AFTER they have taken back the White House.

1. Those polls tell you a few things |
|
1. Most Americans are not happy with Obama. 2. The crop of Republican candidates are terrible.
Seriously though, I'm trying to think like a Republican, and the guys that I would think they would want running would be Christie, Daniels, or Perry. I don't think any of these end up running, so things are looking good for President Obama.

2. The GOP's too happy with Obama to run a serious candidate |
|
They have to show the flag and put up a sacrificial lamb candidate, whom I'm sure will be promised a big fat reward for biting the bullet and running a losing campaign.
