9. My squirrels don't even bother to run away. They just lay there, sprawled out like
a mini bear skin rug. They must figure if something has the energy to pounce and catch them, you know, well done. Poor critters.

This has been the worst summer ever here. No heat, no sun. Just grey and often drizzly.

8. 95 just south of Green Bay WI, heat index 105
But the windows were clear this a.m.! We've been told not to go outside unless we have to. I'm really worried about the people without AC. It's brutal here (and in Minn.).
