Job #1 for Republicans is taking back the White House in 2012. McConnell said straight up that he will not be party to any law that helps Obama's chances for re-election. They are willing to DESTROY the country in order to score political points.

These nutjobs are going to be so shot down in 2012. They just don't understand that they've driven away the Independents they used to win the elections last November. The Independents were voting for balance because they bought that Obama had gone to the left (because most Independents don't really pay attention). They wanted jobs, and the deficit cut, and their home values to increase, etc. What did they get -- union busting, and shutting down Planned Parenthood, and Tea Party Crazy. They are doomed. I don't know if Obama played this brilliantly on purpose, but it's certainly worked out that way for him and the Democrats in Congress. And the Democrats to be elected in 2012.
