Rich Raynor:

Rich Raynor was born and raised in Alaska. He was married in 1980 to his wife, Julia. They moved with their three children from Anchorage, Alaska to Roseburg, Oregon in 1995. Their children are grown now and they have four grandchildren.


After graduating high school, Rich took some college classes before entering the work force. He has owned and managed a restaurant, been a construction framing and remodeling contractor, and worked in an industrial rubber products warehouse. When he moved to Roseburg, Oregon, in 1995, he began his real estate career, which has served him well and continues to this day. He is a Graduate Realtor Institute graduate and a designated Fine Homes Specialist.


Rich has been very active in the community. He has served on the Douglas County Planning Commission for 8 years, including one year as chairman. He is currently a member of the Government Affairs Committee, is the Chairman of the Land Use and Water Policy Sub-committee, is the District 4 Vice President, and serves on the Executive Committee for the Oregon Association of Realtors. Rich also served as a board member for the Douglas County Association of Realtors from 2001 thru 2007, including 2 years as President. He was awarded the honor of Douglas County’s Realtor of the Year in 2005. Rich has served for 3 years on the Board of Directors for the local crisis pregnancy center, 2 years on the Executive Committee for the local Republican Party, and for the past 2 years has been the Douglas Country Chairman for Americans for Prosperity.
