Did anyone else get really pissed at the story on Maddow's show about the tree at Auburn University?

Some deranged motherfucker poured a tree poison into the soil at the base of a tree at whch Auburn fans gather when they win at football.

This perp called a radio show and said he had poisoned the tree and that "it *will* die."

And so it is. Slowly but surely. Auburn's people are doing heroic things to try to save the tree, but Angel of Tree Death seems on an inexorable march.



What is WRONG with people? I can't think of a cruel enough punishment for this deranged motherfucker.

They talked to that idiot on ESPN radio here in Chicago and he was proud, but they ripped him apart and he didn't even realize it till right before they hung up on him.

8. Odd, I've held my temper over this debt ceiling thing for a long time now

but this guy killing 130+ year old trees completely set me off on a rant.

I have no sympathy or understanding of why someone would do such a thing.

The only good thing is that he called up a radio station to brag about it in time for the tree-people to try to save them.

the question is WHY? I can't see a good reason for that... at all.

13. My neighbor hates her beautiful magnolia tree.

And their sago palm died back. They were told it was not dead, that it would come back in the spring.

So they hacked it up with an axe, and then BURNED it in their fire pit.

I don't understand people who hate plants.

She also called me a "showoff" for playing my piano while she was in my house,

and said "BUDDHISM IS VOOOOOOOOOO---DOOOOOOOO!!!" while crossing her forearms in front of her for protection from

my pagan idols.

So I put up a six foot tall wooden privacy fence to protect against her ignorance, anger and general bad juju.

I'm also going to complete the fence around my property and put up Tibetan prayer flags.
