When I remind them that dozens of States are under heat advisory they dismiss it as "well it's Summer which is why it's hot". They don't even bat an eye at their own lack of logic. Nothing exists outside of their physical experience of cooler weather here, and their denial of global warming at any cost. Unseasonably cooler weather means ice-age. The complete opposite of global warming. Period.

Global warming deniers need to realize it's the middle of winter there right now and also that while Patagonia is beautiful, it is one of the most inhospitable places on Earth. It is mountainous and it regularly has wacky weather.

to break records for heat this year that have stood since the Dust Bowl days. I haven't heard any of the deniers around here asking "Where's your global warming now?" like they do in winter weather.
