7. Thanks, Stuart. And the corporatists have both. They make their money |
|
Edited on Thu Jul-21-11 10:10 AM by Cal33
by stealing from, robbing and screwing the rest of America. And things are worsening. Around 1970, the upper 1% owned some 12% of the nation's wealth. This has tripled by 2010. The upper 1% now owns 35% of the nation's wealth.
The next 19% owns 50% of the nations wealth.
Combined together, the upper 20% owns 85% of the nation's wealth.
And the lower 80% of Americans owns only 15% of the nation's wealth!
Right-wingers also own 90% of the MSM. They have been able to brain-wash half of our people into believing whatever they say.
That's how they are able to rob amd screw the American people more and more. Their goal is to become our masters some day, and make us into their servants, if not slaves.
The way I see it, that day is coming closer and closer. And half of us won't even know it until after it has happened. Of course, by then it's too late to redress the situation peacefully.
The corporatists won't change. These sickos can't help but continue in their greedy, fraudulent and corrupt ways. I see probable strife and violence in our future -- including civil war and WW3.

19. The founders of Neoconservatism, among them the late Irving Kristol, |
|
have openly encouraged their leadership to lie to the masses, if it is beneficial for them to do so. This is what makes pathological liars find Neoconservatism so attractive. They congregate there because that's where they've finally found their home.

8. These are the religious fanatics. The Muslims have theirs, and we have ours. And |
|
the one is as immovable as the other. And the corporatists, of course, are gladly there to profit from the use of both of them to suit the corporatists' own purposes.

10. It seems to be pretty much a requirement these days, with a few exceptions. |
|
Candidates don't run their own shows anymore anyway, they all have handlers are pretty much moved around like cardboard cutouts.

11. Yes, corporations have already pretty much taken over America, |
|
as well as many other countries in the world. I wonder when and where the final putsch will come. I'm guessing that we (the USA) will be the first. Possibly international corporations think that if the largest goes down first, the rest will follow more easily.
If the world gets taken over, it's only the beginning of our trouble. Remember, corporate greed is endless? They'll be squabbling among one another, each one wanting to "have it all!"
These are psychopaths. The main problem with our world right now is that too many of them are in positions of power. Hence all this endless struggle for more money and power is going on.
All we can do right now is to try to vote them out of power. At least, it's something!

21. republicans are the enemies of all Americans in this quest. |
|
The members of the republican cult are doing everything they possibly can to bring about the disaster you describe. This is a battle of republicans vs. Americans. Me, I'm with the Americans.

23. The Neocons joined the Republicans some 40 years ago. They worked their |
|
way up in the party, usurped the power of the leaders and finally succeeded in throwing the old Repulican leaders out. The Neocons were smart enough to keep the Republican name, so as to keep on getting the votes of the old-timer Repubs., most of whom don't even know that their party no longer exists. They still think they're "voting Republican."
Today, the right-wingers are made up of Neocons, Libertarians, Tea Partyers, uninformed old-timer Republicans...and several other groups ... all under the domination of the Corporations.
Someone expressed the opinion: "Today it's no longer blue vs. red, left vs. right. Today it's Corporations vs. you and me." It's pretty accurate, too.

or perhaps go even lower than Bush. And, looking at the Neocon and Tea Party leadership of today, I'm not surprised.

20. She definitely gives the impression of being a mouthpiece. |
|
Everything she says seems to bolster the corporate fascist agenda that the Tea Party has unwittingly (and witlessly) embraced. So yes, you're right, pretty much anyone (though preferably a marginally attractive woman) who can parrot Fox "News" and Hannity's latest gas escape can run for president on the republican ticket and be taken seriously.
Clearly, the republican party has been transformed into a religious cult, complete with dogma, rituals, and deities - the works. And we know how successful religious cults have been at running governments in the past. Don't we?
