Discussion of leaked ALEC documents on Fresh Air (NPR) today, Thurs.... |
|
Fresh Air is broadcast at noon (EDT). Just in case anyone's interested.
If you miss it you can pick it up on the NPR website.

1. Well, I guess no one's interested. But that interview certainly was instructive... |
|
Noble Ellington, National Chairman of ALEC) is a lying sack of sh*t. Example: Terri Gross (Fresh Air) interviewed him the last 15 minutes of the show. She asked if he didn't think there should be more transparency on ALEC's part as to the model legislation they submit to legislators.
Mr. Ellington replied that there is plenty of transparency in that constituents can discuss any proposed bill with their legislator.
But what the public needs to know is whether that bill originated in collaboration with ALEC, and how it compares, text-wise. Is your Repug legislator going to tell you that? Of course not!
Like I said, lying sack of sh*t!
