So the public is now supporting the GOP's gimicky Cap and Cut
bull shit...

I just saw on MSNBC that 60+% of the people think it is a good idea.

Yep, A Confederacy of Dunces, that's what we have become.

Dumb down the people, look to God for all your answers, all you need is one book, the book and no other book...

I'm glad I don't have kids...

3. I don't think they majority of people understand what it entails
(and I'm including myself in that majority). Cap and Cut probably sounds promising - like a 'rational' approach?

I just wait to hear what Bernie and a few others say.

7. That's the problem with politics....
Especially these days. Gimicky sounding stuff comes into the playing field and takes on a life of it's own...

5. Some of that depends on how they ask the question...
1) Do you support the plan to raise the debt ceiling?
2) Do you support the compromise plan to keep the US from defaulting?
3) Do you still want to keep getting your SS checks uninterrupted?

6. It doesn't matter how many people think it's a good idea...
They can still be wrong.

And they are.

Goddamn it.
