Dear Mr. President: Social Security is not an entitlement. It is a program to protect the well-being of seniors in our country. HANDS OFF BENEFIT CUTS TO those who have been already sacrificed homes, jobs, and retirement savings, like me, per Congressional (GOP/DEM)policies under both previous administrations and your own. We are exhausting unemployment benefits and cannot find employers who are willing to hire us in this combative environment. It is a perverse notion that creating even more poverty will somehow improve our nation's economy, and there is little chance that the poor can mount a defense to prove unemployment and/or age discrimination. DO THE RIGHT THING, MR. PRESIDENT, or find a place to stack the bodies of those that will die on your watch. Your efforts in this regard are appreciated and could earn you a vote (of confidence).
