2. One of the hottest days of the year in DC...

... and at 3pm, the fire alarm went off.

Hundreds file out of the building, stand around outside breathing Code Red air for an hour, are allowed back in the building...

... to find none of the elevators operational.

5. 103 in NE Oklahoma.

We are forcasted for at least 10 more days of 100+ degrees. The HI is only 108, but humidity is really low here. The worst is the wind. In most places, a nice breeze usually cools things down, but in OK, it's like the devil farted on you! It's hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable!
