Rush Limbaugh Says The High Temperatures Aren’t Real, They’re Part Of A Government Conspiracy

Rush Limbaugh is now saying that it is not actually as hot as people think it is, and that the Government is doctoring the temperature numbers to make people think that it is hotter than it actually is.

Limbaugh stated;

“And they’re playing games with us on this heat wave again. Even Drudge. Drudge getting sucked in here. Gonna be 116 in Washington. No it’s not. It’s going to be like 100, maybe 99. The heat index manufactured by the government to tell you what it feels like when you add the humidity in there, 116. When’s the last time the heat index was reported as an actual temperature. It hasn’t been, but it looks like they’re trying to get away with doing that now. 116.”

“Drudge is just linking to other people reporting this. He’s not saying it. I don’t want to misunderstand, but he’s linking to stories which say 116 in Washington. No. It’s what 100, 97, 99? It’s going to top out at 102, 103. It does this every year. We have this. There’s a heat dome over half the country. Midwest it’s moving East, and it happens every summer. It happens every summer.”

8. When I was a kid in ATL GA 90 was a very high temp.

During the 1950s and mid 1960s we didn't need AC because our homes (my grandparents had an old brick/block house coated with stucco) were surrounded by trees and the hottest temps were about 90 in August. June temps were in the low 80s. My parent's house (next door) was built of steel and California rewood. We had AC but seldom used it. As a kid I lived in several states. It was never as steamy hot as now. Limbaugh is a big fat liar.

My dad and his friends used to drive cars on the frozen lakes. Now we get a few days of freezing weather at best, and sixty-degree days in November, December, January, February, and March. No global warming here, just local warming.

Hundreds of high-temperature records have been set in the last decade, all over the country. In a previous era Rush would have been claiming that he's really Napoleon, but without the military. The tastes in insanity have changed, apparently. Everybody seems to want to be Henry Ford without the cars.

Limbaugh persists because he is able to bury a lonely grain of truth (heat indexes are usually higher than the actual temperature) in the middle of most of his miserably outrageous lies, making them believable to the illiterate dolts who keep his coffers filled. I seriously doubt if he even believes half of the crap he says, but it does keep him rich, so why stop?

People who listen to Rush regularly seem to believe him. Rush is nothing more than a disk jockey who got annointed by Roger Ailes. But his followers (thankfully decreasing) really believe him.

Neil Boortz is another right wing icon. But I have only heard him twice, back in 2005, when he said New Orleanians deserved Katrina. After that, when I was a NOLA refugee in ATL, I never listened again to boortz. But rightwing males quote him online all the darn time. I've read a couple of his dogwhistling columns. Boortz seems to be even more of a racist pig than Limbaugh.
