Warring, torturing, for profit health care country about to rob Soc. Sec? Whodda ever thought?
Seriously, the U.S. is so corrupt, so unlawful, so full of criminal industries like banking, health care, mercs, propaganda media and rigged elections just why is it such a surprise that the exact same political machines that have done all this are about to steal Social Security?

Perhaps the actual time to be outraged was years ago before all these crimes were "off the table".

1. Yep. And the time to act on global warning was the seventies. We had the science.
Likewise the oil problem - we saw it coming before the Middle East got ugly, and that rammed it down our throats. Our response - a massive nationwide wave of cocaine use and the election of Ronald Reagan.

So I fully expect our response to corruption to be privatization - just hand stuff over to the corrupt. It's just the way America works.
