I don't spend much time at DU anymore, so imagine my surprise when I logged on to discover that someone had given me a star! I had let mine lapse.
So whoever you are, YOU are the star. Thank you for keeping me aloft in the DU cosmos.
With sincerest gratitude.

1. I can't afford to buy you a heart, but I'll gladly give you a rec. |

Some DU'er likes you, and that's all I need to know.

4. Well you are so-o-o worthy. |

Your posts have always been informative and diverse and I had been noticing your absence.
I've cut way back on posting but someone kindly renewed my star during one of the quarterly fundraisers.
I'd guess that very same someone may have gifted you given our shared mutual interests.
You'll always be "aloft in (my) DU cosmos, star or not.

That means so much coming from you. You have always been a shining light and playful, loving spirit. I suspect you may be right about my generous star gift, though there are some others that also came to mind.
My shift has been away from DU and internet social networks in general in favor of more tangible, flesh and blood connections and activities, but I left a big piece of my heart in our little corner of the cosmos - a constellation of beautiful stars, which played such an important part in my evolution.
