Wall Street Journal says Justice Department is looking into 9/11 hacking allegations

The Justice Department is readying subpoenas as part of a probe into allegations that News Corp. attempted to hack into phones of Sept. 11 victims, the Wall Street Journal reported late Thursday night.

The paper, citing a government official, said the subpoenas still required approval by senior department leadership. The Wall Street Journal is owned by News Corp.

The FBI opened an investigation into the allegations last week, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press .

Also last week, Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J., told NBC News he and his colleagues were seriously considering summoning media mogul Rupert Murdoch to Capitol Hill to testify about the allegations...

2. Rupert Murdoch hiring big legal guns, may fear hacking scandal is spreading to U.S.
<snip>

"News Corp. began hiring big-time U.S. legal firepower - a possible sign the firm fears its scandal will spread to America.

The company's nine independent directors hired former Manhattan U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White and former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, who served under President George W. Bush.

The directors are said to be increasingly concerned about Rupert Murdoch's stewardship of the firm and appear to be bracing for new U.S. legal trouble."

But now I have links PROVING that they are seriously considering prepping it, but no Professiona Leftists can be found to talk about it and give it recs!

Try to tell us NOW that Obama will not take on FOX like he did BP!
