Dear Friends,

We've come a long way. Working together, we made the recount process work, uncovering numerous issues and anomalies in the election process in Wisconsin. Local clerks and the Government Accountability Board (GAB) have and will change the way they conduct elections as a result of what we did.
And, as a result of the complaint we filed with the GAB, a former prosecutor has been hired to conduct an independent investigation of the Waukesha County Clerk. We understand that investigation is going on right now.

All of our efforts have paid dividends, but they have also been costly. We have raised $122,000 from our grassroots supporters: we have 2200 individual contributors, 80% of whom gave $50 or less.
JoAnne has made a personal loan to help pay the recount bills. To cover her loan and our outstanding obligations, we need to raise another $60,000. If each of our wonderful supporters and all those who were so supportive of the recount would make a donation of $25 we will be able to retire our debt.
