1. I THINK so, I think I read that somewhere in the zillions of
posts that have been covering this.

Didn't he say something like "and others who might surprise you" who are of the same mind?

5. And I'm sure he'd vote yes on a clean debt ceiling bill
but he's seen just as well as we have what negotiating with the tea bag terrorists gets you, more threats and more demands...

6. Would A Filibuster Necessarily Mean A Default?......
Wouldn't it throw the deal back on the negotiating table?

Somebody needs to put their money where their mouth is. If you don't want to touch the Big 3 and you don't want this deal on the backs of the poor, sick, students, disabled, etc - then someone is going to have to put their job on the line.

I like Bernie. I like what he says. He always seems to say the right things about issues. Here is a chance for him to come through for the American People. Will he do it?

7. Could a filbuster force the president to do his constitutional duty under the 14th amendment?

8. Who is to say they would not get 60 votes to override?
I am sure any deal will include all the repubs (save maybe Paul and Rubio) and a bunch of "moderate" democrats.
