John Boehner nearly tripped over himself to get Rush Limbaugh's OK this morning.

Well, he probably tripped, anyway. Just about the only news radio station left in Seattle was reporting on the debt negotiations, and stated very clearly, John Boehner left the negotiations to call Rush Limbaugh. The implied meaning was that he had to get Rush's permission for something. I heard it on my way home from work (I work early am hours), and I thought that was an interesting take by a generally middle of the road, leans conservative, station.

So nice to know who his master is, other than his donors, that is. Rush Limbaugh calls the shots for today's repub party, and where the heck is my Olbermann bouncing Rush icon when I need it?

Considering Rush hates all things good and decent, I wonder if it was his idea to put in the corporate tax holiday.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting the way this radio station reported it, not that Boehner had an appearance on the Rush's show, but that he literally left the meeting to go seek Rush's approval.
