2. In today's lexicon of "rightwing," all of them are terrorists.
But some terrorists are not rightwingers.

3. What if you asked the same question, but substituted "muslims" for "right wingers"?
How do you think that would go over?

5. I don't know
but I was just thinking about today's attacks in Norway.

Reading between the lines it seems that the terrorist is against open societies, liberal democracy and civil liberties...that motive fits either a RW extremist or a religious extremist.

6. Informed posters have pointed out....

that Norway is a very wealthy nation, largely due to its oil reserves (North Sea). As such, it is perhaps an ideal role model for a left-leaning democracy where the oil wealth is spread among many. No one would have more to lose, if such a political landscape were to sweep the Middle East, than the oil sheiks and families who maintain ownership of the bulk of Middle Eastern oil wealth. While individual terrorists may be motivated by ideology, I believe the main thrust of their support comes from ultra right-wing anti-Socialists. The same is probably true of much of the tea party movement.
