In fact, that's the number thrown about when discussing this "Grand Deal".

1. Isn't it puzzling that those who cry cut, cap and balance were
actually strong arming to get this extended? We are witnessing the Inside Job's greatest feat ever, screwing the country over right before our very eyes and our elected officials actually working toward that goal with great haste. Talk about Shock Doctrine, they are lining their pockets and setting up laws to benefit themselves & their wealthy "base". We are screwed, and we know it.

3. That's because this is not about deficits.
Gut our social programs to pay for the Bush/Obama tax cuts and guess what? There would be more tax cuts to run up more deficits, followed by more fake despair about our fiscal plight, followed by more draconian spending cuts to everything except our bloated Pentagon budget.

4. Exactly, its never what they claim, it's always to continue
the rape and pillaging of what's left that they've yet to profit on & gut.

5. But why are we insisting in $1 trillion in revenue when it sounds like it
Might supersede $3.7 trillion? That makes no sense to me.
