20. when ever the president...
takes to the airwaves, it is a bully pulpit. When a president uses it, he can affect legislation.

10. It's nice
but where is his plan? The starting point should NOT be from a Republican perspective! It should come from and start from a Democratic plan if negotiations are to take place.

14. Obama has always had a plan
One line bill raising the debt ceiling, like done 89 times since the 1930's. Anything else is a compromise.

15. And then we fail to fix a problem
and that is our deficit which can be fixed in part by TAX INCREASES ON THE RICH!!!!!

22. The deficit is not a problem
and the tax cuts for the rich, as you've seen by now, will NEVER get through a teabagger Congress.

21. We're going to hear a barnburner speech from PObama soon in which he
clearly defines what the republicans are and what they have demanded over the last two years. They have a clear record and Obama will use facts and statements to build a case that republicans have not been and will not be good for the country, unless you are a CEO or in the top 2%.

Now is the time for it. The republicans have shown their colors clearly...DU has known what they are but now they have illustrated, in a very visible debate, that they believe their radical agenda for corporatism and doctrinal social values is worth plummeting the US into chaos for. Could be interesting.

I don't think he'll release an apology letter or hold hearings in the basement or let a gang of six speak for him. He tried to give gop leaders a chance to be adults and they literally walked out. Gloves off.
