9. It's okay though. I remember when the news hit about the trial, I suppressed my cheers. |
|
I figured it would play out of several ways, each disgusting:
The judge or prosecution would be intimidated and do a poor job.
The jury would be intimidated and not find him guilty.
If found guilty but not remanded to custody, he would flee.
If found guilty, he would appeal and get off.
If found guilty and sentenced, the sentence would be a slap on the wrist and he'd do easy time in jail instead of prison.
If found guilty and sentenced, Rick 'the hair' Perry would commute his sentence and get a perennial consulting job at FOX with the rest of the GOP felons.
If found guilty and made to serve time in prison, he would go to some kind of country club place where he'd have an assistant to do his work there and help him write his version of Mein Kampf.
You can see why I didn't dance in the streets over this one. I'll believe he's going to get some punishment when I see him making those license plates.
Or that gerrymandering scheme of his is overturned. Still not holding my breath on any of this.
Keep us posted, guys! We want to know what the author of the stolen election in Florida 2000 is gonna get for his comeuppance!
