Obama Exposed The Lie That Republicans Want To End Deficits. David Corn
said that Obama took the fight to the Republican's playing field. And that's exactly what he did.

Maybe if more Democrats took that message and started shouting it "Republicans LIE when they claim to want to reduce the deficit" we'd get somewheres.

1. If the Rs want to end deficits then they should support The People's Budget which ends them in 2021.

3. I am really tired of hearing the response that "obama/dems have no plan"
That is completely false, it is just the people who listen to fox news have never heard of them.

4. 1 Rec for 2 Reasons!
1. The message, and...

2. The sig line. Frankly, I'd rather have Pretty Boy Floyd in Congress instead of some of these teabagger morons!

5. It's not been a secret to most folks
But the media narrative, carved in stone and never to be questioned or amended, is that it's the Republicans who are the fiscally responsible ones. It's true that Republicans don't give a tin shit about the deficit, and this entire episode has put the lie to that meme. The popular media, however, will utter nary a peep about it. When this fiasco passes out of the media spotlight, the talking chuckleheads will dash back to their favored narrative and we'll be back to "tax and spend" Democrats while Republicans are the responsible Daddies reining in the spendthrift kids.

7. Yes he did. Obama has taught Americans lots in the last few weeks. And it looks like, by
walking out, the GOP will give even more teaching time to Obama.
