PALIN 3/28/10: "Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win"
Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win

PALIN: "To the teams that desire making it this far next year: Gear up! In the battle, set your sights on next season's targets! From the shot across the bow -- the first second's tip-off -- your leaders will be in the enemy's crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics. You won't win only playing defense, so get on offense! The crossfire is intense, so penetrate through enemy territory by bombing through the press, and use your strong weapons -- your Big Guns -- to drive to the hole. Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win. http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=375184908434

4. Good catch ...
We need a compendium of such citations, from Palin and all the other freakazoid righties ....

EVERY utterance in favor of violent 'solutions' for political differences is incitement ...

5. Whoever writes her copy has an extraordinary fetish. I'll bet they can't have sex with a human
unless firearms are nearby or involved.

6. We've already seen how well "aiming high" works out for her, LOL.
Edited on Sun Jan-09-11 06:15 PM by Erose999
In addition to the coded violence, there was a whole Olympics worth of sports metaphors in that abomination of a paragraph. Few of which made sense. Sarah, or whoever posts this crap in her name, is of questionable literacy.

9. Here are too replies. The first is inflammatory. The second attempts to tone it down:

10. Seems like she wants to coach a mashup of John Boehner crying while playing basketball
and bleeding on a battleship court that is shooting its cannons at the "enemy" whose marines or navy are shooting back on a very hot day while listening to music played by a 70s R&B group.

11. To use this kind of language even when talking about March Madness
Edited on Sun Jan-09-11 06:23 PM by Blue_In_AK
is madness in itself. Violence and bloodshed seem to be part of her makeup. It was reflected in her attitudes towards wildlife management while she was governor. Shooting wolves from helicopters, killing bear cubs in their den. She just likes killing stuff, and she enjoys violent rhetoric.

She's one sick little puppy. I don't know whether or not anything she has said worked its way into the mind of yesterday's shooter, but she and her language are definitely toxic in our present political atmosphere.
