2. To me it is not just Palin, it is all those people paid to spew divisive and violent rhetoric |
|
(Of course she is one of those).
But it is not just her horrid target poster, there is so much "kill liberal" rhetoric out there.
Dunno about civil suit.

3. Even if they just try.... |
|
...it will damage her political career.
Like even the most scandal ridden republicans however, she'll always have the conservative welfare system by which no republican, no matter how tarnished is ever without a high paying job for some think tank or right wing rag or Fox news.

Not even the most slickest corrupt lawyer could tie her to the AZ shootings, assuming that is what your question pertains to.

9. Oprah was sued for trashing beef! The families of the victims have standing to sue -- |
|
the court would decide her culpability, then award damages if she's found liable.
Hope it happens.

8. Even if Palin could not be held liable it would help stifle some |
|
of the rhetoric. That would be a good thing imho.

11. A trial is important, the outcome isn't. |
|
Someone needs to sue her for "wrongful death". The trial will be enough to put the final stake through her heart (metaphorically of course).

As much as I don't like Sarah... no...
If he called her, lets just say for a second, and she encouraged him in any way... then yes.
Of course this is at a legal level. Morally by all means.
