Dark Men in Turbans are Bigger Ratings Than White Blondes With Blue Eyes
The news world basically went nuts yesterday convicting the Muslim and Muslim Extremists for this horrible tragedy in Norway. I was driving and listening to Sirius Satellite Radio so I had access to the major news channels from around the world. Of course it was primarily the American News Companies that had already "leaked" it must be Muslim Extremists. Even MSNBC.

I think journalism is completely dead. No one reports the facts and lets the audience digest it. All the "reporters" report a fact and then pontificates ad nauseum on what they just said. How the fuck does some asshole sitting at a news desk in NYC know what is going on beyond the teleprompter telling them the facts? They don't. Yet the americans sit glued to these people like Gospel.

Of course the news outlets know if they say certain "buzzwords" it will help the ratings. Muslims, Extremists, Terrorists, etc.

3. Yeah, but, but, but, Jesus was white, blonde and had blue eyes - just like in all those pictures.
And he rode dinosaurs!

4. That's right
My grandmother had one of the catholic pictures...blonde hair and light blue eyes. I really believed all through childhood...even into college...that Jesus was a Scandinavian.

9. Oh, and there's no way he would have been conspicuous!
Well, other than the halo around his head. I mean EVERYBODY rode dinosaurs back then.

now that it was not the "other Boogyman". If it were a Muslim it would be non-stop 24/7 coverage, complete with special scary looking graphics and ominous theme music: Special Report "TERROR IN NORWAY". Lots of scary fuzzy photos of dark men, the worn out film footage of the al Qaida training camp guy jumping over the fence that we've been shown a zillion times (be afraid, be very afraid). But today, just <chirp> <chirp>.
Even a full hour after the name and photo of the killer was released, they were STILL pushing the international terrorist meme.

11. And some people will get no further information and be stuck
on its being Muslims. Various morans will quote that as another example of a Muslim attack because they heard it on the radio.

13. "This is just an exception"
Said the people who had posted that it was a Muslim terrorist, after it was proved that it was, in fact, a rightwing Christian fundamentalist.

Islamic terrorism = terrorism
Christian terrorism = "not really a Christian" or "lone crazy"

The loonie were crying that there's no proof he was a Christian, that "calling himself a Christian didn't make him a Christian", that one or two self-identified Christian terrorists are nothing compared to jihadists, that all the "lefties" are just jumping to conclusions, that.....enough....I had to close the site and give up.

Tim McVeigh
Eric Rudolph (Atlanta)
Scott Roeder (Tiller)
Jim Atkisson (Unitarian Church shooter)
Anders Breivik

Just "one or two" Christian shooters. No pattern here.
