Dear Mr. President: Once the debt crisis is over
can we please, once and for all, stop talking about bipartisanship? Thanks.

A Democrat (your party, remember?)

1. K and R
It's been proven time and time again that this approach does not work. Solid attempt by Obama to be the Great Uniter, but it's not working. Time to change strategy.

4. Why talk to a president decades in the future?
You think the GOP will let the "crisis" lapse before then?

5. It's a manufactured crisis...
like so many others before it. The American Way.

6. Not that it's likely to happen, but...
let's pretend that someday it did...

What if by some some strange chance there were a Republican in the WH who wanted to govern in a bipartisan manner...

Democrats would actually tell them to stick their bipartisanship up their asses and give them permission to ram things through Congress however they wanted?

7. You've hit on the thing that seriously pisses me off about Obama
He always seems to be right there, soothing their lack of a gold-plated-pacifier-induced temper tantrums where I just long to see him bitch-slap the whole party. It's like watching a parent give their child a cookie (or a whole damn package or orios) when they scream in a store. You know what that teaches them.

Maybe it's part of a bigger plan. I've got to admit Republicans look even more like a bunch of dicks, but I still want to see them bitch-slapped.
