PERSONALLY
I would probably just as soon see the whole freekin mess collapse and take the whole damn bunch of them down with it rather than just the weak, the poor, and the elderly. We all know that wall street and the insurance industries would lose a lot more than the rest of us, they have more to lose... He needs to stick his guns and call their bluff.

1. This is just my opinion but while that may seem like a favourable outcome, I can...
...guarantee that Wall Street will forever be shown deference, even in such a calamity. Until we really change how things work in America. So, again, some sort of default/total collapse/etc. might seen like a clean slate, but in reality (IMO), it would just be an excuse to further turn America into serfdom.

3. I don't
Expect anything resembling a "clean slate" and I seriously doubt that they will let the collapse happen, they will make whatever moves they are planning, yes planning, I do not doubt for a second that they have already got it figured out and whenever they finish all their dick measuring they will finish it up and take credit for saving our sorry asses.

4. Unfortunately, it will be
the little guys, the ordinary working men and women, the retired, the disabled, the children, who will most be hurt if everything collapses. Not the Wall Street brokers.

5. I imagine
They have it all stacked in their favor, from wall street to washington, they will all be fine.

6. it doesn't have to be that way....
....if the American people would for once stand-up and fight and just say 'enough'....if Americans would become true patriots and elect a true representative government that would fairly and honestly represent the best interests of the all the American people....

....where is it written that we must play the rich-peoples' capitalism game until we all die from malnutrition and disease?....where is it written that we must be governed by a rich, moneyed elite no matter how unjust, unfair, evil or tyrannical they become?....

....where is it written?
