LOL !!! - I Love Being A Democrat... It's So... Compelling... Anybody Want to List... |
|
people who we used to consider on our (Dem/Progressive/Liberal) side, and because they've dared speak truth to power, are now on the outs with many Dems???
I'll start...
Paul Krugman
Keith Olbermann
Glenn Greenwald
Just to name a few that get blasted from time to time.
Anybody else?

1. LOL, Krugman is an interesting one. Thrown under the bus during the primaries... |
|
...then embraced wholeheartedly after Obama's very first appointments.

That whole 'blind allegiance' thing?
I mean, I like Obama and all, but he is not without his flaws
That being said, I still think he's the best chance we are going to get now - despite EVERYTHING

Yours is the first thread at the top of the page just now, so -- tag -- you're it, WillyT.
I've been trying to find out if anything definitive has happened today with regard to the debt ceiling talks.
I can't tell a THING by perusing DU. Either I'm extra dense or the comments are more scattered than usual. I can't tell if people are responding to what happened two days ago, yesterday, or if something happened this morning. Haven't found anything definitive at news sites either.
Could you, or someone, please give me a Debt Ceiling Talk Update For Dummies?
:hi:

If not for his being talked about and quoted here at DU, I wouldn't. I've watched Keith O's show on occasion but I have no idea who Greenwald is.

I don't know how DU reacted - I was taking a break when that story was all the rage. Many Dems in Congress and POTUS sure as hell ran from him.

Yellow dog for my entire life and I am not young.
But sadly, I am giving up on this party...I keep looking for a reason to stay.
But I only find reasons to leave.
