Eric Cantor has a history of no debate, no discussion of issues.

Rick Waugh has been speaking up for the voters of the 7th District as they continue to demand that Rep. Eric Cantor explain and defend his positions in a real debate. This weekend at the Midlothian Day Parade, Rick Waugh approached Mr. Cantor and asked him man to man if he would agree to debate. Mr. Waugh requested the debate as a political opponent and as a constituent, who like all of the residents of the District, deserves to hear his Representative defend his policies. Mr. Cantor did not have the courage to look Mr. Waugh in the eye and agree or once again refuse a debate

In 2010 his opponent for the 7th District personally asked Cantor for a debate of the issues and Cantor wouldn't respond either way and then offered vague reasons why he wouldn't debate. That's strange for someone who's a graduate of William and Mary Law School where debate is routine.

Cantor is out of his element when he has to compromise or defend his position, antithetical to Obama. There will never be a meeting of those minds.

And he hasn't even been in Congress for two full terms yet and he's dictating policy to the rest of us.
