2. This is the ghost of the original Catfood Commish with fast-track powers.
You just can't keep a good zombie down in DC.

3. Um:

They manufacture an emergency just to get austerity through.
They then cannot get it through, even by scaring us to death.
They then decide to create an extra-constitutional legislative body, which contains fewer members than the real Congress. This new body will prevent the real Congress from carrying out real debate and wouldn't allow bills passed to it to be amended.

What will they do next?

6. If we're at the "Fuck the Constitution, just create a new body that makes shit easier to get through
phase," then I think we're definitely circling the drain as a nation.

5. That's McConnells desperate move to get around the TEABAG HOUSE
Stupid awful idea.

Boenher has no control over the True Beleivers in the House. They are more than willing to default and plunge the US into economic Depression.

Stupid HORRIBLE idea. But to me that's the motivation, they can't control their house members.

9. Yeah, the manufactured emergency card is getting weaker.
You can only use it so many times before it loses it's power. Crying wolf.

10. This will fail this time around.
They will then slap a coat of paint on it and reintroduce it under a different name a few years from now.

This "Congress" (read Star Chamber) will consist of six Republicans and six DINO's. Just another unconstitutional plan to take and keep control of this country.
Anyone know of Obama's response yet?

11. It would allow corporations greater control of legislation... Fewer Congressmen to buy off...
