4. And where's the treadmill and mini-trampoline?
Those are at every garage sale where I am. Both in almost unused condition.

10. He wouldn't throw in his own golf clubs.
Now he might offer yours.

5. Toon makes absolutely no sense.
Obama hasn't given in on anything, especially the kitchen sink.

The toon sucks.

7. Really? So what has he given away in these negotiations.
Edited on Sun Jul-24-11 12:35 PM by tridim
Please be specific. Name actual things, not hypothetical bullshit.

He has destroyed the teabaggers as of Friday evening, and that is a gift to America and the World. He has given freedom to our GLBT friends.

I realize you just told me that I suck because I disagree with a cartoon, which is against DU rules. I'm not going to alert you if you apologize.

8. More like destroyed the Democratic brand, liberal policy and ideals, and the best tool
available to those running down ticket-the ability to unmercifully and without equivocation bash the TeaPubliKlans for their efforts to destroy, hobble, and/or privatize Social Security and Medicare.

9. The Democratic brand is in spectacular shape after Friday's news conference
He also unmercifully bashed the teabaggers, the Republicans and talk radio, and he stood strong on maintaining SS and Medicare.

That's why the toon is bullshit and doesn't make sense. It's attacking the WH for something they didn't do.

12. No he didn't, even Boner confirmed that fact.
Obama has NEVER said he wants to cut Medicare and SS benefits.

Again, a reason why the toon sucks.

13. A brand is never established overnight and seldom destroyed that quick either.
The pooch won't unscrew with a peppery speech in the face of absurdity.
