What does the Norway shooter have in common with Glenn Beck?

Extremist language about the "Islamic caliphate" that he feels is coming. There are 60 references to "caliphate" in the book, many of which are about the coming "global caliphate."

An alliance with the Jihadists might prove beneficial to both parties but will simply be too dangerous (and might prove to be ideologically counter-productive).

We both share one common goal. They want control over their own countries in the Middle East and we want control of our own countries in Western Europe. A future cultural conservative European regime will deport all Muslims from Europe and isolate the Muslim world. As a result, the Islamists will gain the necessary momentum to retake power in several countries: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Syria, Yemen, Oman, Algeria, Morocco and a few others.

The Jihadists know this very well. An Islamic Caliphate is a useful enemy to all Europeans as it will ensure European unity under Christian cultural conservative leadership.

After being derided and charged with trafficking in wild conspiracy theories, Glenn Beck redoubled his warnings that the uprisings in Egypt could lead to an Islamic caliphate spreading across the Middle East on his radio show Thursday.

Beck has come under criticism for his doomsday vision of the potential fallout from the Egyptian revolution. He has warned that the world is "being divvied up" by the "uber left" and the "Islamicists," and that what was formerly "Ancient Babylon" could emerge as the new seat of "evil" and center of the new caliphate.

"1. Groups from the hardcore socialist and Communist left and extreme Islam will work together because they are both a common enemy of Israel and the Jew.

3. Groups from the hardcore socialist and Communist left and extreme Islam will work to overturn relatively stable countries, because, in the status quo, they are both ostracized from power."

It's interesting to see the same exact type of right wing extremist language coming from Beck and the Norway guy.

He does suffer from the same fear and paranoia as Beck, but unlike Beck he is stupid enough to act on it, while people like Beck can now sit back and tsk tsk about his actions while inciting another fool to do the same thing.

with an overwhelming chip on their shoulders, a sense of entitlement that would rival Adolph Hitler's? And, an all too willing audience happy to egg them on in their hate?
