The economists from University of Chicago, aka 'The Chicago Boys' were pure applications of Conservative Economic Thought. They had a dry run in Chile, after Pinochet. Lots of people died, but the rich did very well. So they took it to America. We are seeing the fruition of that.

Despite this, the Conservatives still push this, obviously knowing people will be hurt and could die, they say they don't care.

They give me the "I don't give handouts!" shit.

That is pure sociopath behavior.

Of course, many kids in the Hitler Youth later became conscripts, while they were still kids. So there weren't many of them left after the war.

I work with a guy who lived in Germany, born right after the war. He said there were absolutely no men around right afterwards. It was eeirie, even to a kid who knew nothing else.

There were kids his age, and just a little older, and then...boom! No men.
