When he took office he promised he would filibuster any bill to raise the debt ceiling. What's his plan now? Anyone know? He's been awfully quiet lately. At least I haven't seen or heard him lately. Thank G-d.

the debt ceiling will be declared unconstitutional.

10. So the Judicial branch will resolve the mess?
That doesn't sound half bad. I'm sure there must be a catch, somewhere, but it sounds like the separation of powers to the rescue. Hmm.

11. The President will do the declaring probably
the GOP will have lawsuits, throw a huge fit, but the SCOTUS is owned by corporate america and they don't want a default because it would fuck them. Corporate America has lost control of the GOP but they will control the Supreme court and for once it will actually help America, it will never happen again though.

13. You actually believe the Alito, Scalia, Roberts, Thomas, and Kennedy justices will
vote in favor of OBAMA? I highly doubt that. I truly wish I could believe you are correct, but I don't see it. This is the court that is responsible for the mess we're in because they appointed the asshole idiot-in-chief...who created this mess in the first place.

5. He is one of the reasons the debt ceiling will not be raised. Another: no vote in the House.
A House vote would be useless, because republicans said they would not approve an increase. Boehner doesn't want to have it raised either. The republicans are all crazy.

9. Wrong all that is left is the 14th Amendment
No matter what you give them, they will never agree to it because its from Obama's mouth and they are 100% set to go against everything he says and wants.

14. Agree. If Obama raises it with the 14th Amend., then they will try to impeach. They will take
their time because they believe they will take the senate in 2012 to convict. Meanwhile, it's 18 months of media craziness over impeachment.
