I had to look up that movie from 2006 "Death of a President"
It didn't play here, I saw no ads for it.

Apparently it is more about the situation of an assassination of a president and what happens afterward. Yes, they used Bush and Cheney as the POTUS and VP. It got some great reviews for its critical thinking, but others denounced it as sensationalizing the hatred many liberals felt about Bush.

The right wingers are claiming the movie was an incitement to violence against the republican president.

1. I've seen it. They are reaching.
It didn't incite me to do anything but turn off my TV. It's not very good.

So the political comment was from outside looking in. A British film.

The film was barely seen in the US. I did not approve of that film to be honest with you. That sort of imagery around real and living people is not acceptable to me at all.
