Currently watching Norweigians enter their state cathedral after the attacks.

The one thing I notice is the amount of security that isn't present. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of people collected outside as they quickly file in and out. No security state tactics, just two female police officers outside. No knee-jerk reaction, just calm and quiet mourning.

I wish America could handle such crises in the same manner.

1. these countries are a lot older than we are. in many ways we are like a teenager to their

more mature age. so we react as an immature teenager would.... and i do not mean to assume all teenagers do this. i was not that kind of teenager. I am thinking of specific kinds of teenagers. the ones who feel they need to prove something. They get beat up so then they go around starting shit with everyone else to prove they are tough.

These other countries have been around. They have dealt with shit for centuries longer than we have even been around. They have had more terrorists attack them than we have. You notice that they are up and running and on with business and we still have a hole in the ground with a fence around it. Oklahoma city isn't like that, but the wtc is. I know there are a bunch of reasons for this, but all I can think is that we just can't move on. We are stuck on 9/11. We are stuck there. I still feel that chill when I see it on tv and I only ever saw it on tv. Like a country with PTSD. How much of that had to do with what our government did after the fact.

This country is making a conscious effort to NOT let this jerk's actions have the intended effect. Had this happened here you can bet there would have been armed guards at the door to that cathedral or some bs like that. Keep all blondes out! No blondes allowed in the service. Yes I am being super over the top about blondes because that guy was blonde but they sure as hell would have done it for anyone muslim here in this country.

I too wish America could grow the heck up and act like adults. And handle crises like this too.
