The very fact that Palin removed these photos from her PAC’s website within an hour and a half ...
... of the shooting indicates that she knew very well that those gun sights would incite violence. Back in March when they were first posted Palin faced criticism and requests to tone down the violent rhetoric. She didn’t bother to do that until after the violence had taken place and lives had been lost. How convenient that Palin’s tweet, “don’t retreat, instead- RELOAD!” has now been deleted as well.

Jesse Kelly, Giffords’ opponent in 2010, took Palin’s words literally and held a fundraiser where donors could shoot an M-16.

2. Can you imagine what would have happened if someone had published a poster of *
with a bulls-eye on his forehead before the '04 Elections?

Probably Gitmo.

3. I can remember some guy told a joke about a "burning bush", in a tavern back then ...
... out west some place and ended up going to the federal pen for threatening the president over it.

Times were different. Thats for sure.

7. I was talking about this just this morning.
The only person getting any heat is the shooter. The rest of the bastards will skate.

5. Palin can't "delete" what we remember about her rhetoric from the past 2 years.
She should be totally removed from talking about politics immediately.
She isn't qualified for any office now.

10. Does anyone remember when the big deal was made about taking guns
to townhalls or to political rallies? Was it in Fall 2009 or so? Seems like it was in the very early days of Obama's administration but I don't remember.

12. Palin has failed yet again
She is fucking history now - tainted goods. Blood is on her hands.
Bubye you stupid, moronic, semi-literate, ignorant, warmongering fuck of a Grifter. It's over. Nothing you say now matters but I expect that you will be on Fox before the day is out. Fuck you Sarah Palin and John McCain!!

13. I suspect Palin has no clue what was done to her website
I don't know about the rest of you but I doubt that Palin posts any of that crap on her website, hell she probably has someone 'ghost tweet' for her. You know she didn't write those books. So whomever is the powers behind her name that run this stuff - THEY are the ones who removed it.

As for why Palin has not spoken in public yet, perhaps she hasn't memorized her lines yet.

14. Well no
a) you're crediting her with more intelligence than has been apparent.
b) you're making the unfounded and probably erroneous assumption that she has any direct control over the content or maintenance of her website. (I'd guess anything that was removed was done by a staffer.)
