Face it, cutting the big 3 AND tax hikes are not a winning strategy, so tax hikes off the table
One at a time is the new strategy.

I think this sucks, too... but what do I know.

the Republicans tell them to do next.

So go ahead, Democrats, cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and don't bother to get any tax increases on the rich or corporations. Make all the "savings" come out of the flesh of the un-wealthy groups who make up your constituency base. And see who shows up to vote for your worthless ass next November, and November after that...

Just remember this: your corporate johns don't actually get to vote.
