Strauss-Kahn accuser comes foward to tell her side of the story
I'm not saying she wasn't raped but she seems a little over dramatic to me http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/07/25/nafissatou-diallo-interviews-dominique-strauss-jahn-_n_908551.html

1. Have you ever been raped?

How about raped and had your rape case discussed, dissected, skewered and thrown nine ways to Sunday on a global news spin level?
How about all that and just being an ordinary, perhaps not well-educated person, who has never been through anything as emotional and life-destroying as this?

Not to mention that the majority of cultures/societies blame the rape victim regardless of the judicial systems in place.

Dramatic? I don't think so. She's not an actress, and only a "celeb" by the terms thrusted upon her by the media and the high profile people involved in this case.

3. I also believe her. First because of the other victim and also because
I grew up in an era where rape was always the womans fault and money was often used to "prove" she was lying. All you had to do was get some of your friends together to say that she was promiscuous and that was the end of it. If she was lying she would have taken his money long ago.

8. That is exactly what happened to rape victims years ago. They were
found to be sleeping around etc. While you may be right about this woman - I want to know who reported that and I want to be very careful that sources are truly reliable. Rape victim were maligned by "friends" and police alike. Police even denied that it had been rape because the woman was not credible. When there is this much money against a maid in a hotel I will error on the side of the maid.

5. The prosecutors don't believe her, and we know now, they never

really did. He was ousted from the IMF and from the French presidential primary. They waited to announce that their case was no good, until after those events were taken care of.

The French case will go nowhere either. The mother has already been caught lying.

The NYPD Chief, Ray Kelly made all this happen, along with Rudolph Murdoch. Kelly is a good friend of Sarkozy.

The woman is only doing this because she thought she was going to make a lot of money from the case, as she told her jailed boyfriend/husband? (it's hard to keep track of the lies she told) and this sudden media blitz most likely means they were told the case is over because of her multiple lies and the problems with the 'evidence, timeline, her being in the room several times before the so-called incident and on and on. There is no case. She may end up being prosecuted herself, certainly she will probably be sued once there is a formal announcement.

Next time they want to set up someone, they really need to choose smarter people to do it. But the NYPD especially Kelly, has a lot of questions to answer.

6. Then why are you concerned with people's opinion of her being
overly dramatic or not? It's an insidious way of undermining her, whether you believe her or not, and speaks even greater volumes to a view toward women in general.

7. Whenever the types of dollars and power that Strauss-Kahn can access
are involved, I don't pass judgment until all the cards are played....and even then it is rare to actually get the whole truth.
