Six-term Rep. Mike Ross (D-Ark.) will not run for re-election next year, Roll Call has confirmed. He will make the announcement Monday morning in Little Rock.

A source close to Ross said he is retiring to “spend more time with his family and explore a possible run for governor in 2014.”
