staffers of congressional family members don't have to pay back student loans?
I just received this in an newsletter email from a military mom complaining about veterans benefits compared to benefits of congressmen after only one term:

"Staffers of congressional family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it. When you consider this with the below information, just where will it all stop"

Doesn't make sense, exactly. But is there anyone who is exempt from paying back student loans based on some kind of privilege?

5. apparently you can't copy and paste from snopes
But it is clearly a false and convoluted claim that originated at FOX.

But I'm wondering if there are any protected groups who can be absolved of responsibility for student loans. People in mental institutions, maybe?

3. Staffers of family members? Huh? This sounds false. Congressional offices
do help pay their staffers student loans while they work for Congress, up to $500 a month, depending on the office, but this is because their salaries are abysmally low (25k is the lowest level up to the mid 40s for Legislative Assistants). Who are "staffers of Congressional family members?" Members of Congress' family who work for other Members? This is confusing.
