The "Palin mentality" kills! |
|
The "Palin mentality" is a new meme I'm coining.
Short of resorting to the gun myself a meme is one way I feel I can fight back. As this event continues to unfold, the frustration and anger keep growing.
I don't know how memes start (I suppose like this) but I'll be talking about the "Palin mentality" when referring to Tea Baggers, Freepers, Republicans, Fox,(the sad list goes on) or any other barbaric right-wing agenda. Its a toxic mindset that is allowed to poison our culture. If these aren't the people the "Founding Fathers" warned about who the fuck is?
These people need to be pushed BACK to the edges of society where they came from. I'm done "turning the other cheek." I truly feel our culture is fracturing beyond repair, and I'll be swinging back from now on.
This is a post out of deep frustration with the system as a whole. The right wing echo chamber is spinning like mad, taking zero responsibility, which will lead to a hardening of their position, bolstering of their supporters and an elevation of violence.
Whats the "proper" reaction to this shit?
Deep frustration.

7. I worried a lot about this during the 2010 elections when |
|
Giffords office and Grijalva was targeted. I had forgotten about it. Palin's rhetoric about "relodaing" doesn't cause this violence, but it makes it normative, makes it more reasonable.
Now it has come to fruition.

8. i think palins rhetoric is directly linked |
|
to this assassination. There needs to be accountability. My fear is there won't be.
