How long until there is no gay marriage and no gay couples?

As New York becomes the next accepting state, I am encouraged. I am also made to wonder.

How long until there are no gay couples, but rather, only couples?

How long until there are no gay marriages, but rather, only marriages.

That's a world in which I want to live.

Sadly, we still have a propensity to adjectivize people based in differences. I expect I shall be gone before that even starts to change.
