So freshman Senator Toomey is outraged that spending is up 35%
since the democrats took over the senate...

The perfect hair guy on MSNBC just let that one slide right on by.

Wouldn't you think you should ask about that number? Question why the number was so high? Where did he get these figures?

Why don't these people ask questions that are pertinent to the situation at hand?

That's a large claim to let go unchallenged.

1. Perhaps when you're operating from a pre-conceived POV...
It's easier to let those questions slide then it is to answer them...

2. I'm outraged that Pat Toomey is my Senator.

Poindexter Pat is another embarrassment to Pennsylvania, just like lil' Ricky Santorum was.

To think that he won over Joe Sestak by only 75,000 votes...THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN DEMOCRATS DECIDE TO STAY HOME.

3. He seems to be a one trick pony....
blah blah blah Blah blah...

At least Portman, the freshman Senator from Ohio, is at least a thinking man and someone who knows how to do a deal. I don't agree with him on any of the issues, but he is not a teabagger.

4. Toomey can kiss my hairy ass. The only difference between him and Santorum isToomey LIVES in PA.
Rick "frothy mixture" Santorum just bought a cheap shack in Penn Hills and called it home - but he never spent a night there. Oh, he also ripped off Penn Hills for $100,000 for "cyber tuition" for his frothy spawn and he STILL hasn't payed them back.

8. It doesn't really matter....
the point is he threw out a number and wasn't challenged.

I'll bet good money that most of that 35%, if that is a true figure, was due to bailing out the banks and RECOGNIZING the money the Bush Administration left off the books for most of his presidency.

6. Also look at who was president during much of that time
and why he chose so many unfunded agenda items.

9. Here would be a really good question to ask Pat Toomey:
Could Pat Toomey Please Tell Us About His Year in Hong Kong?

"For some time now, Democrats have been demanding to know what Pat Toomey, the GOP Senate candidate in Pennsylvania, did during his year spent in Hong Kong in 1991 working for a financial advisory firm. Dems have been seeking detail on Toomey's year abroad, in order to buttress their ongoing case that Toomey, who worked for banks and traded derivatives, is nothing but a stooge of Wall Street.

I've nailed down what Toomey did during that year: His campaign confirms to me that he did research on capital market formation in southeast Asia for a company owned by the billionaire Chan brothers, one of whom, Ronnie Chan, was a former Enron director who settled a massive $168 million lawsuit brought against the company by shareholders."
